K. Scarlett Olson is an associate at Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine where she focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals, physicians, and other medical providers against claims of medical and institutional negligence in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Scarlett worked at a prominent insurance defense firm where she obtained successful outcomes in 1 bench trial and 3 arbitrations defending clients in personal injury claims.  During her first year of practice, Scarlett served as an associate at another litigation law firm defending personal injury cases, taking the lead on 13 jury trials, 1 bench trial and 60 arbitrations.


During law school, Scarlett served as the Presiding Barrister of the Trial Advocacy & Dispute Resolution Honors Board and she competed in multiple trial advocacy competitions.  She earned Dean’s List honors and was awarded the DuPage County Alumni Chapter Scholarship as well as the Walter Schirmer Scholarship while attending The John Marshall Law School.

During her senior year of college, Scarlett was a member of the Illinois State University Mock Trial Team which advanced to the 2013 National Championship Tournament in Washington, D.C.
