Stephanie is a civil litigator who concentrates her practice in the defense of physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers against claims of medical negligence. She has successfully litigated a wide variety of personal injury, wrongful death, and hospital premises liability cases over the course of her professional career and has experience in all phases of complex litigation from pre-suit investigation to trial. Stephanie also represents hospitals in matters involving the electronic medical record system and audit trail and other claims related to health information technologies.  She has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star and has also been recognized by Leading Lawyers as an Emerging Lawyer.


Stephanie graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2008. While at DePaul, she was a member of the DePaul Law Review and served as an Editor of Articles, Notes, and Comments for the DePaul Law Review Editorial Board. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in both Torts and Constitutional Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Stephanie received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 2004.

Stephanie is an active member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the Chicago Healthcare Risk Management Society. She is an avid runner and has run twelve marathons, including running the Boston Marathon on numerous occasions.
