Peter N. Papageorgiou is an associate at Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine where he focuses his practice on insurance defense in the areas of medical malpractice, federal civil rights defense, nursing neglect, and toxic tort.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter worked at a prominent insurance defense firm where he defended long-term care and skilled care and assisted living facilities from initial pleadings to trial or settlement. During his first two years of practice, Peter served as an associate at another litigation firm focusing on personal injury cases, taking the lead on six jury trials, one bench trial and 75 arbitrations.

During law school, Peter was a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. There he tried six cases under the Illinois 711 student practice rule. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Anna Helen Demacopoulos for the sixth municipal district of Cook County.
