Sarah Rodak Johnson is a partner at Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine who focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals, healthcare organizations, and medical providers against claims of medical and institutional negligence.
Her accomplishments include the dismissal of clients during the discovery phase of litigation, resolution of disputed claims through mediation, and numerous defense verdicts following jury trials.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah tried more than 40 civil cases to verdict as a first-chair.
While completing her undergraduate degree in political science at John Carroll University, she interned with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During her time at The John Marshall Law School Sarah interned with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, as well as participated in various moot court competitions.
Each year from 2015 through 2018, Sarah has been selected as a Rising Star in the field of Civil Litigation Defense by Super Lawyers. In 2017, she also received the distinction of Emerging Lawyer from Leading Lawyers.
Sarah is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Healthcare Risk Management Society.
